Yes, we're still alive!

Winter has arrived! We are in a snow, melt, and then snow some more cycle. Here's a picture of the backyard around sunrise. The snow was sitting on everything, including the bird feeder.

We are still around and keeping busy these days. Here are a few highlights of the last few months.

On Christmas Eve Day, we went skating with some of Jay's family, and then had a pizza party at our house - lots of people, lots of pizza! Owen skated with Jay, but he didn't really enjoy it. That will come, we hope. Zach skated on his boots, and enjoyed that just fine.

The boys enjoyed some extra Dad-time, since Jay had some holidays around Christmas.

Santa also made a visit one night while we were in bed. The boys had been wondering how he would know where we lived. They thought maybe their presents would end up at the old house and Uncle Ian would have to bring them over. We assured him that Daddy had emailed Santa that we'd moved. Then they wondered how he would get in the house since we don't have a chimney.

The morning after he came, we told the boys to go check under the tree. We heard Owen say "What? He did get in!" They couldn't figure out how, but after they saw some presents, they didn't really care how he got in. The boys enjoyed their gifts (which included these puzzles), and couldn't wait for Noah to get up so he could open, I mean they could open his gifts. Noah was thrilled with them, can't you tell?

Noah is still quite a content little guy, and is settling into a nice routine. He is willing to smile for anyone that gives him attention. His latest weigh-in put him over 13 lbs, so we're not at all worried that he's suffering. He's sleeping quite long nights, but still needs/wants a feed in the middle of the night at times.

He is surviving his brothers; yes, they have learned to be gentle. What a bunch of trouble!

Enjoy! Talk to you later...Linda

PS - I almost forgot - Happy Hockey Day in Canada. The Leafs are winning 1-0 right now.

Lego and Sweaters by Oma

Owen and Zach got the lego out this week and have been having so much fun with it. The only problem is that they don't know how to make very many things. They find a picture in their lego book, and bring it to Mom to make it for them. I've had lots of fun with it!

I took a picture of the boys with their lego cars this afternoon. They were wearing sweaters Oma had made. Sorry, I forgot to take it with me so I could post it today.

I did take this picture of Noah along though! He's really starting to look less and less like a newborn these days. Enjoy!

He's Getting Chubby!

Just a quick update, mostly because I told Grandma I'd let her know the status on her 'Golden Grandchild'. I had Noah at the doctor's yesterday, and he is 11 lbs, 14 oz. I figured he was getting up there since he's got quite chubby legs. He's heavier than the other two were at this age.

Noah also had his two month needle yesterday. He didn't mind the first one, but he really let the nurse know that he didn't appreciate the second needle. It didn't last long, and he was soon happy.

Just a quick post to show everyone Noah's smile. He is now 7 1/2 weeks old, and is getting pretty good at smiling.

If anyone feels the need to see his smile in real life, please don't hesitate to drop by!

Here's a recent family picture from Noah's baptism. We had a great day with almost all of the family there. We stayed after church for supper (thanks to everyone who brought food to share!).

I'm not at home right now (which is good since this would take days if I was trying to do this with dial-up!). I hope to add some more pics in the next couple days.

Noah is doing great - he slept from 10:30 PM until about 6 AM last night. Maybe tonight too??

Owen is quite proud to be 4 years old now, and Zach is having fun playing with all of Owen's new toys.

Noah has just ordered lunch so I have to go.
